The home itself is beautiful, and has incredible bay views. However, our overall experience was disappointing, especially considering we paid nearly $7,000 for a 4-night stay. The biggest issue was the lack of communication. When we arrived, the garage was accessible, so we parked one of our vehicles there. Two days later, on the Fourth of July, the owners’ golf cart was dropped off (with no communication of this) and once we reached out, we were told we had to move our vehicles out of the garage to make room for it. This left our group with inadequate parking, and one of our vehicles received a $200 parking ticket because there simply wasn’t enough room for four vehicles. If you’re bringing anything larger than compact cars, expect to fit only two vehicles comfortably. The views are beautiful, but the beach behind the home is bayfront, not the Gulf, and is public so was very crowded. Overall, we expected much better communication and accommodations for the price we paid.
Great experience! You don’t have much privacy as it’s right on the main drag and there is construction going on next to it but other than that it’s a great place to stay! Great amenities. Clean. Easy walk right to the beach and to a great area of AMI.
